Palmer Feibelman, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who trained in biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology before earning a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Feibelman completed ophthalmology residency at Brown University and a Byers Family Ophthalmic Innovation Fellowship at Stanford University, after serving as a medical officer and flight surgeon in the United States Navy. During the Stanford fellowship, Dr. Feibelman developed new medical devices for treating common ophthalmic conditions and taught Stanford ophthalmology residents.

Dr. Feibelman studied biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology before earning a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Following medical school, Dr. Feibelman served as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy, holding the role of Medical Department Head at Navy Operational Support Center Washington, D.C., and later deploying as a flight surgeon with Marine F/A-18 squadron VMFA-232. After military service, Dr. Feibelman completed ophthalmology residency at Brown University, then joined Stanford University as the Byers Family Ophthalmic Innovation Fellow.
I came to medicine through engineering, and I still approach every patient the same way: by listening closely, thinking carefully, and explaining what I find in plain language. My goal is for every person to leave understanding their eyes and confident in the plan we made together.
