Clinical Focus
Dr. Anis specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of open-angle, closed-angle, and secondary glaucoma. Her procedural range spans medical therapy, Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) with micro-stent implants, trabeculectomy, tube shunt surgery, and laser iridotomy, giving her the flexibility to match each patient to the right intervention as their disease evolves. Within the practice, she is also recognized as the lead specialist for combined cataract-glaucoma cases, where lens replacement and pressure-lowering procedures are performed together.
Glaucoma is one of the few conditions where the relationship between doctor and patient really is the treatment. Pressure changes, vision changes, life changes, and our job is to keep watching, keep adjusting, and keep the disease from quietly taking sight that people don't realize they're losing. Whether I'm performing cataract surgery, placing a stent, or simply fine-tuning a medication, my goal is the same: to protect every patient's vision for the long run, with as little disruption to their life as possible.
