Thomas Lang, M.D., FAAO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in primary care ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and diseases of the anterior segment at Rhode Island Eye Institute. He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University before attending Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York for his medical degree. Dr. Lang completed his internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, both in New York City. With over 40 years of ophthalmology experience, he is a trusted and long-standing specialist serving patients across Rhode Island.

He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, where he contributes to the education of the next generation of ophthalmologists. Dr. Lang holds hospital affiliations at Miriam Hospital and maintains active privileges across the Rhode Island region.
