Dr. Martin P. Newman is a specialist in primary care optometry, contact lenses, and low vision services at The Rhode Island Eye Institute. His experience includes four years as an optometrist at Yale University Health Service, where he established the Contact Lens Clinic, as well as 10 years in private practice in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Newman’s is a graduate of Union College in New York and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania college of Optometry. His teaching experience includes seven years as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Optometry at the Philadelphia College of Optometry.
